If you missed the tax credit, don't worry.  Home prices are still low, and interest rates are hovering around 4.5%...it wouldn't take long for you to make up the difference missed by the tax credit.  We have still have plenty foreclosures, short-sales, REO, bank owned, AS-IS, and resale properties available in this market.  There are also plenty of deals to be had on homes that are not distressed.
